Safely and efficiently operate a VNA lift truck in accordance with current legislation, manufacturer’s instructions, and site-specific rules

Carry out thorough pre-use and daily safety inspections, including defect identification and reporting procedures

Understand the principles of stability, including the causes of truck and load instability

Accurately assess load weights, load centres, and rated capacities

Safely lift, carry, and place loads at height within very narrow aisle racking systems

Operate controls, guidance systems, and safety devices correctly

Manoeuvre confidently and precisely within confined aisle spaces

Work safely at height, including awareness of fall prevention and emergency procedures

Operate in a manner that minimises risk to themselves, other personnel, equipment, and property
