Apply correct steering and manoeuvring techniques in both confined and open working areas

Accurately assess load weights, load centres, and rated capacities

Safely lift, carry, stack, and de-stack loads, including working within racking systems

Confidently handle awkward, unstable, or unusual loads

Carry out safe vehicle loading and unloading operations

Follow correct refuelling and battery charging procedures, where applicable

Aim
The aim of this course is to equip delegates with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence required to operate the selected lift truck safely, efficiently, and in accordance with current legislation, manufacturer’s instructions, and recognised industry best practice.
By the end of the course, successful delegates will be able to demonstrate safe operating techniques, carry out effective pre-use inspections, and operate the machine competently within a variety of workplace environments.
