Category C (Class 2) – Rigid Lorry Licence
The Category C licence, also known as Class 2, allows you to drive rigid lorries over 3,500kg.
With a Class 2 licence, you will be able to drive:
- Rigid lorries
- Delivery vehicles
- Construction and tipper vehicles
- Refuse and municipal vehicles
This licence is the ideal starting point for anyone looking to begin a career in professional HGV driving, offering strong opportunities in local, regional, and nationwide transport roles.
Many drivers choose to start with Class 2 before progressing on to Class 1 (Category C+E), making it a solid foundation for a long-term driving career.
Course Price
- £1,700 – includes training, Module 3A and Module 4, plus 1 retest included
- Additional retests: £115
Reverse Training
- Weekday sessions available after 4 pm
- Weekend availability
